Apollo-Moon

Life is short
Break the rules, forgive quickly, kiss slowly, love truly, laugh uncontrollably,
and never regret anything that made you smile.
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by things you didn't do
than by the ones you did.
So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour.
Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

Apollo-Moon Moon

Hi .... How you doing?

I moved from Erith on the outskirts of London, to New Romney on the south eastern tip of the UK, in October 2009.
I still like waking up to the sound of Sea Gulls and on the weekend, the sound of the little steam trains just across the road. (Did you know that Sea Gulls never seem to sleep, so I can hear them when I go to sleep as well) It is about a 15 minute walk to the sea and in the other direction, a 10 minute walk to the town. Goggle 'New Romney' if you want to know more.
The down side of the move is going to work. It's a round trip of 120 Miles so now I am looking for a diesel car to cut down on the fuel costs. But time wise, it is still quicker than driving into London each day and a much nicer experience. I work right next to the motorway so within a few minutes I am heading towards the country side. After about ten, I reach the top of Wrotham Hill and have a panoramic view of Kent. A good way to start the journy home.

Until next time……

John
